It's Official: The Philippines is Now PH
Thu, 12/02/2010 - 11:17 — adeFor the longest time, the Philippines has been known by the initials “RP,” for “Republic of the Philippines.”
However, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will now be using the initials “PH” when referring to the Philippines. This is good news for anyone who has registered a .PH domain, since the initials PH will be getting more exposure and becomes more closely identified with the Philippines.
dotPH is Disabling Secondary Contact Access
Starting October 26, 2010, dotPH is going to implement a stricter Domain Management Access System. Only Primary Contacts are allowed to access the Control Panel and make changes to domains.
Secondary Contacts will no longer be able to log-in and edit domain details beginning October 26. If the Primary Contact needs to be changed or updated, please download, fill up and submit the ff. form:

To ensure that you have no problems in managing your domains, please make sure that any necessary changes to the contact information is submitted to dotPH well before October 26.

Important Notice: Scheduled Server Maintenance
Thu, 07/03/2008 - 09:29 — jonahdotPH will conduct scheduled server maintenance on Monday, July 7, 2008 from 2:00am to 4:00am (GMT+0800). During the maintenance, the system will encounter 30 minutes temporary downtime.
Please be informed that the dotPH website, registrar tools, domain registration, renewal, transfer and manage domain will not be available during the downtime. However, domain resolution and e-mail forwarding services will not be affected and will continue to function. Normal operations will resume upon completion of the maintenance.

Gov't. ICT Services Criticized

dotPH Rewards Plus Awarding
Thu, 06/10/2004 - 11:56 — admindotPH opened up the year 2004 with the introduction of the dotPh Rewards Plus Program. The aim was to support the efforts of our Registrars in promoting the PH domain. Rewards Plus recognized not just the Registrars, but the front-line people responsible for the actual registration of .ph domains.
Each new domain registered from January to April earned corresponding points. At the end of the quarter all those who reached the qualifying levels were rewarded accordingly.
