Affiliate General Questions
1. What is an Affiliate?
An Affiliate is someone who refers prospective PH domain registrants and earns commissions on each successful referral.
2. How much do I earn for every referral?
You earn $5 for every paid domain that you refer.
3. How do I become an Affiliate?
Click here to fill out the Affiliate application form. Once your application is approved, you will receive an e-mail containing your Affiliate Log-in, which will allow you to track your referrals and commissions. You can now start earning from referrals.
4. Can someone based outside the Philippines become an Affiliate?
Yes. The Affiliate program is open to non-Philippine residents as well.
5. Can anyone be an Affiliate?
No. Employees of dotPH, its associated companies and their relatives are NOT eligible to become Affiliates.
6. How do I refer someone?
Affiliates can refer domains by:
1. Placing a dotPH Affiliate banner on your website. Anytime someone clicks on the banner and registers a PH domain, you earn money!
OR
2. If you don't have a website but know someone who might like to get a PH domain, just login to the Affiliate page, fill out the necessary fields and an email will be sent to that person containing a link and your referral code. If they click on the link to register a domain, you earn money!
Commissions are paid only on successful referrals. When someone you refer registers a domain by clicking on your link or the Affiliate banner on your website, it will be recorded and tagged with a transaction number. Once the domain is paid for, the commission is automatically credited to your account. Only when the link or Affiliate banner is used and the domain is paid for will the commission be credited to the Affiliate.
7. Can I refer myself?
No. The domain must be purchased by someone else for the commission to be credited to your account.
8. Can I refer non-PH domains, such as .COM, .NET or other country domains such as .JP or .DE?
No.
9. Can I refer EDU.PH and GOV.PH domains?
No. Those domains are handled by different registries. You can only refer .PH, COM.PH, NET.PH, ORG.PH, MIL.PH and NGO.PH domains.
10. This is a great program. If I can sell lots of domains, can I earn more than $5.00 per domain?
Yes. Join the Registrar program.
11. Can I sell PH domains at a higher price than what you charge, so I can make a bigger profit?
Not as an Affiliate. If you want to charge higher than our retail price for PH domains, you can join the Registrar Program.
